The Bells Angels France, b. 2009

"As if they were constantly transposing visual categories to the sound arts, and sound categories to the visual arts, the Bells Angels imagine the music and "musicate" the image. [...] They start with clusters of noise, human, animal, terrestrial noise, sound, visual and information noise. They draw and record echoes, then they make landscapes out of them." - Tristan Garcia 2020

Julien Sirjacq (1974) teaches at the Beaux-Arts School of Paris since 2015. He is in charge of the Printing/ edi-tion department.

Their multidisciplinary approach penetrates a wide range of mediums from painting, installation to sound and edition. Their spirit is a virus. Their work is a visual disease. They use commissioned projects to develop their hybrid editorial system, built as a conversation between a book and an exhibition: sound productions, installations, radio workshops, visual identity, exhibition catalogues etc.
