Vue de l'installation Clémentine
Renée Levi
From February 3rd to March 10th 2001
Clémentine, is an experience that could take the shape of a fruit: firstly, a sort of peel, which would have to be removed in order to discover what might resemble pulp. But enough metaphor: if Renée Levi’s work can be considered as modern painting, it is precisely because it resists all verbal transposition, because it proposes an experience which cannot be summed up as an act of language.
