Meet & Book Signing of Partitions by Emmanuel Saulnier and The Artist Animal: Dictionary of Animal Creation by Marc Partouche
The gallery is pleased to invite you to a book signing of the new monograph Partitions, in the presence of the artist, on Wednesday, June 11 from 4pm, at 17 rue des Filles-du-Calvaire.
Partitions, featuring texts by writer Frédéric Valabrègue and choreographer and critic Daniel Dobbels, is the third volume that Éditions du Regard has devoted to Emmanuel Saulnier’s work and research over the past forty years. It follows Principe transparent (Jean-Pierre Greff and Luc Lang) and Conditions d’existence (Amaury Da Cunha and Doris Von Drathen).
Lavishly illustrated, the book revisits the public commissions and international exhibitions that Saulnier has undertaken over the past twelve years, as well as all the publications he has edited or directed. Together, they reflect a strong political commitment and a clearly asserted stance within the current French context.
