As part of the group exhibition Empreinte: from Gesture to Language, artist Mariana Hahn, in collaboration with Sarah Rebecca, will present a special performance entitled Sit With Me, in dialogue with her works on view at Galerie Les Filles du Calvaire (17 rue des Filles du Calvaire, 75003 Paris).
Born in 1985 in Germany, Mariana Hahn graduated with a degree in Visual Arts from Central Saint Martins in 2012. Her multidisciplinary practice combines photography, video, writing, and installation, exploring the close relationship between the body and the transmission of memory and knowledge. Hair, salt, and copper are among the materials she frequently uses.
Sarah Rebecca is an American singer-songwriter whose soulful, ethereal voice has captivated audiences across continents. Known for her platinum-certified tracks Diamond Veins (with French 79) and All My Heroes (with Naeleck), she blends gospel influences with electro-pop in a distinctive style.
