The Belgian artist Katrien de Blauwer, born in 1969, is a 'photographer without a camera'. She cuts, glues, assembles, violates, colours and manipulates photographs from old magazines that she collects. Close to photomontage or cinematographic montage, her works have an intense narrative charge. Linked to memory and personal history but, paradoxically, as intimate as they are anonymous, they become the possible scenario of everyone.
