In early 2020, the Covid epidemic suddenly freezes humanity and empties the cities. In the Île-de-France region, more than a million people choose to leave the metropolis to protect themselves. As an immediate consequence of the health crisis, the urban exodus reminds us of the fragile links between city and health, between architecture and prophylaxis, between city and hospitality. It also opens up a field of questioning for the city of tomorrow: access to health care facilities and the place of medicine; evolution of health care institutions and care for all pathologies; aging of the population and accessibility of facilities or housing; urban mortality and the place of burials; health impacts of our metropolitan metabolism and transformation of territories...
