From September 5 to October 24, 2026, artist Qi Zhuo will present his new solo exhibition at the Les filles du calvaire gallery: We cannot prevent birds of ill omen from flying overhead, but perhaps we can prevent them from nesting there. This title is inspired by a widely known Chinese proverb. For Qi Zhuo, this phrase is not a form of psychological consolation; rather, it functions as a working method applied to materials, history, and the body.
